Is the Clip water-resistant?

Yes! The Clips are rated IPX6 water-resistant and are built to survive unexpected splashes, spills and showers. You should not submerge the device in water, as this may damage the internal components.

How long does the Clip battery last?

The Clip 1st Gen has a rechargeable battery that can last up to 6 months on a single charge. The battery life will depend on how much you use your device. You can recharge it using a USB-C cable connected to a power source.

The Clip battery is rechargeable. You should not try to remove it. Opening or tampering with the device voids the warranty.

Is the Clip 1st Gen compatible with Apple the Find My™ app?

Yes, you can use both Clip 1st Gen with the Apple Find My™ app or the Pebblebee app. The Pebblebee app is compatible with both Clips on Android and iOS.

Using the Apple Find My network prohibits the use of the Pebblebee App, and vice versa. You may not operate simultaneously on the Apple Find My network and Pebblebee network. In order to change networks, you must reset the device to factory settings.

To get the benefits of Apple's Find My Network your device must be linked to Apple's Find My app.

Is the Clip 1st Gen compatible with Google's Find My Device?

Only the Clip Gen 2 on its made-for-Android version is compatible with the yet-to-be-released Google's Find My Device network. The Clip 1st is not compatible and cannot be upgraded to be used with the yet-to-be-released Google's network. However, for Android users, it can be used with the Pebblebee app.

Does the Clip have UWB - Ultra Wideband?

No, the Clip does not have Ultra Wideband capabilities.

However, with the Pebblebee app, you can use its nearby indication of proximity and buzz it once you are close to it.
