How To Claim Your Device In The Pebblebee App
The Pebblebee app helps you keep your device firmware up to date and unlock additional features—but all location tracking will still happen through your chosen network: Apple Find My™ or Google Find My Device™.
Follow the steps below to claim your device in the Pebblebee app:
Step 1: Claim Your Device to a Tracking Network
Before using the Pebblebee app, you need to claim your device to one of the supported tracking networks:
Step 2: Download and Login to the Pebblebee App
- Download the Pebblebee app
- Open the app and enter your email address to log in.
- No passwords are required—just a secure email login.
Step 3: Claim Your Device
- On the top-right corner of the home screen, tap the "+" button.
- Select "Claim Device".
- Make sure your device is nearby.
Step 4: Make Your Device Discoverable
- Locate the button on your Pebblebee device.
- Press the button 5 times to enter discovery mode.
- The app will automatically begin the claiming process.
Step 5: Complete the Setup
- The app will update your device's firmware to the latest version.
- Choose what item you’re tracking (e.g., keys, wallet, backpack).
- Give your device a name that makes it easy to identify.
That’s it! Your device is now set up in the Pebblebee app.
What Happens Next?
