How can I use Siri with my Pebblebee device?

Make sure your Pebblebee account has been verified and that you’ve claimed your device to the Pebblebee app.-

Siri integration with the Pebblebee app is only available for iOS devices.

Set up Siri

If you didn’t set up Siri when you first set up your iPhone or iPad, do one of the following:

If you want to activate Siri with your voice:

  1. Go to Settings > Siri & Search
  2. Tap “Listen for,”
  3. Then choose “Hey Siri” or “Siri” (if you have that option).

If you want to activate Siri with a button: 

  1. Go to Settings > Siri & Search
  2. Turn on Press Side Button for Siri (on an iPhone with Face ID) or Press Home for Siri (on an iPhone with a Home button).

Add your device to Siri

Once you've claimed your device:

  1. Open the Pebblebee app and tap on your device
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap on 'Add to Siri'
  3. A screen will open and show the phrase that you'll use to Find your device.
    1. You can edit the Voice phrase by tapping on 'Change Voice phrase' and typing or dictating your desired phrase
  4. Tap on 'Done '

Spotlight search suggestions

The search bar may offer suggestions to find your devices when typing your device's name, based on behavior.

Once it has detected that you buzz your device frequently, you may use the search bar to use a shortcut and access the Find feature easily.

  1. Tap 'Search' at the bottom of the Home Screen (on models with Face ID) or swipe down on the Home Screen or the Lock Screen.
  2. Enter the device name you wish to find.
  3. Tap on the suggestion

Note that with Siri Integration, you must have the phone with you to manually trigger the buzz either when asking Siri or using the Spotlight suggestion
