How can I attach the Found to my belongings?

Updated by Marina

Depending on where you got your Found you will find in the box: a plastic clip, a silicone sleeve, and velcro.

The sleeve and clip were not supposed to be used together, and the velcro can be combined with the other two to give you versatility in attaching your belongings.

You can use the sleeve to attach to a dog collar. Or alternatively, you may use the velcro + clip to either attach it to a collar or another item.

The place you attach the device can interfere with the transmission of the signal. If it's enclosed by metal it can drastically reduce its performance or completely block the signal.

The Sleeve

The sleeve is made of silicone and it's flexible just enough to make the Found slide inside. The sleeve is good to be used in most dog collars and backpacks.

How to insert the sleeve

  1. First, pass the cord, collar, or belt inside the opening in the back.
  2. Once the sleeve is already in place, insert the Found horizontally.
  3. Then turn the found clockwise to put it in place.

The Clip

The clip is made of strong plastic and is also ideal for most pet collars and belts, especially if your pet tends to chew things. You can also use velcro if you want to change the orientation of the clip.

There are two different types of clips. Depending on which one do you have, the attachment will be slightly different.

  1. First, pass the cord, collar, or belt inside the opening in the back.
  2. Once the clip is already in place, insert the Found following the instructions below.
  3. You will hear a click once your device is properly attached.
Note: We strongly suggest keeping the charging port covered while using the device to protect it from detriments and dirty. Always make sure the charging port is clean and free of residuals before plugging it to charge.
