Solving - Activating SIM Card error
If you are facing the 'SIM Card error' or 'Cellular reception preferred to finalize device activation' there are a couple of steps you can try to finish claiming your Found.
This error message shows when your device had trouble connecting to the cellular network available. The best way of solving these errors is by moving to a better spot and trying again.
Please try the following:
- Force kill the Pebblebee app. (Click here if you need help How to force close the Pebblebee app).
- Move outside or go close to a window.
- Try to do the setup again.
For low connectivity areas
If you are in a region known for low connectivity areas (countryside or in the mountains), please try again once you get to a place with a better connection. You can use your phone's signal as a good measurement of signal quality. If you are unable to make a call, your device will also have trouble activating.
