Do Clip, Card and Tag emit alerts of unwanted tracking?
The Clip, Card and Tags are Apple Find My™ certified products and therefore follow the same rules as other Apple Find My™ accessories when linked to Find My™ app.
Clip, Card or Tag claimed on Find My App that are not with its owner for a period of time will emit a sound when they are moved. You may also receive an alert on your Apple device (please check Apple support for more details on unwanted tracking).
If you have iPhone, iPad or iPod (OS 14.5 & up):
- Make sure you have the correct settings to be notified about unwanted tracking.
- You will receive an alert if any “Pebblebee" has been moving with you.
- You can tap on the alert and make the device buzz to help you locate it.
If you found a device moving with you, please follow the below instructions to learn how to disable it:
How to Disable:
- Locate the button on the front of the device - under the Pebblebee logo.
- Double-press the button. Press again and keep holding for ~10 seconds until you hear 2 beep sounds
- Release before the end of the 2nd beep. An audible confirmation will sound.
- This will stop sharing the location of this item.
How to Re-enable:
In case you have disabled your item, it will stop synchronizing its location. You can re-enable it by doing the following steps:
- Locate the button on the front of the device - under the Pebblebee logo.
- Single-press the button.
- Audible confirmation will sound.
- This will restart sharing the location of this item.
