How to add your item to the Pebblebee app

This article references the Pebblebee app, which has been renamed to PB Legacy. While the app's functionality remains unchanged, all mentions of the Pebblebee app now refer to PB Legacy. Learn more about this transition here.

This article is made for our Pebblebee Legacy products compatible with the Pebblebee app: Found, Finder 2.0, Black Card, Finder Classic and Honey. Or any Clip, Card, Tag made-for-Android or made-for-iOS line. The new Pebblebee Universal units are not suported by the Pebblebee app.

Add your item to the Pebblebee app

If you have a legacy Pebblebee item or a Pebblebee-for-Android or for-iOS line, you may use your item with the Pebblebee app.

  1. Install the Pebblebee app.
  1. Follow the in-app instructions to create and set up your account. 
  2. On the devices tab, click on the upper right corner on the + symbol
  3. Locate the button on the front of the device, under the Pebblebee logo.
  4. Press the button twice. Your item will beep and the app will detect it and connect.
  5. Click to 'Pair and accept'. (Your phone might have additional steps)
  6. Follow the in-app instructions.
  • Tap on your device’s name to change settings, enable features, and check its info.

On Android phones:

  1. In order to pair your unit you need to allow Pebblebee to connect to your new item over Bluetooth.
  2. Each phone model might offer different steps, but you are usually be requested to:
  • "Allow Pebblebee to access PB - Find My" on a pop-up dialog

and/or

  • Hit "Pair & connect" on the top or bottom of the screen.

Note, the pairing request only stays visible on the screen for a few seconds. If you missed it, please hit back and start again. If you don't see the pop-up to pair, please trying disabling the "Do not disturb" mode, check it under the phone notifications manager or go to your Bluetooth settings.

If your unit does not enter in pairing mode, please perform a factory reset to re-attempt How to reset a Clip, Card and Tag?
