If you purchased a Pebblebee for Android item and want to use it with the Pebblebee app

In order to use your Pebblebee for Android item with the Pebblebee app, an update will be offered during the claiming process.

Updating your item won't remove Google's Find My Device compatibility. If you have updated your item, you should still be able to pair it with Google's Find My Device app (A factory reset is required to switch networks since an item can not be paired with both apps at the same time).

If you don't see your device on the list of scanned items:

  • Make sure Bluetooth is ON.
  • Make sure you phone and Pebblebee item are close to each other.
  • Close the app and open it again.
  • Make sure your device is charged. Press and hold the button, the LEDs should indicate the battery level.
  • Perform a factory reset by pressing 3 times, then holding on to the 4th press until a confirmation beep sound (Check factory reset steps)
  • After the factory reset, reopen the Pebblebee app and re-attempt pairing/updating it again.
