If the Pebblebee has an accessible QR code, follow Return an item with Pebblebee Link.

If it does not have a QR code—or the code is damaged, covered, or unreadable—you may still be able to identify the tracker using your phone.

Identify it with an iPhone

If the Pebblebee uses Apple Find My:

1. Open the Find My app.

2. Select Items.

3. Scroll to the bottom of the Items tab.

4. Select Identify Found Item.

5. Keep the Pebblebee close to your iPhone.

6. Follow the instructions shown on the screen.

You may see the tracker’s model, serial number, or recovery information supplied by its owner.

Note: The information available depends on the device and its status. Not every tracker will provide a way to contact its owner.

Identify it with an Android phone

Use Android’s manual tracker scan to check for nearby compatible trackers:

1. Open Settings.

2. Select Safety & emergency.

3. Select Unknown tracker alerts.

4. Tap Scan now.

5. Select the Pebblebee if it appears.

6. Follow the instructions shown on your phone.

If you cannot find this setting, search for Unknown tracker alerts notifications or in Settings. Menu names may vary by phone and Android version.

If you cannot contact the owner

If no recovery information is available:

• Do not connect the Pebblebee to your account.

• Do not factory reset or disable it.

• Keep it powered on whenever possible.

• Leave it with the lost-and-found desk, front desk, transit authority, or staff where it was found.

Keeping the tracker active may allow its owner to continue receiving location updates through Apple Find My or Google Find Hub.

Safety exception: If the tracker was hidden in your belongings, appears to be following you, or makes you feel unsafe, follow the disable instructions. Your safety comes first.
