What happens if the plan owner cancels or the subscription expiresUpdated 2 hours ago

Alert Live access for everyone on a Family plan depends on the owner's subscription remaining active.

If the owner cancels

Canceling stops the subscription from renewing. The owner and invited members keep access until the end of the current paid billing period. When the subscription ends, Alert Live access provided by that plan ends for everyone.

Only the owner receives billing, renewal, and payment communications.

If the subscription expires or lapses

Shared Alert Live access ends as soon as the subscription expires. There is no grace period after the plan has lapsed.

  • The owner and invited members are notified that access has expired.

  • Invited members can join another shared plan or purchase their own Alert Live subscription.

  • The previous sharing list is removed.

If the owner purchases or resumes a Family plan later, they must invite the members again. Previous members are not restored automatically.

If the owner's Pebblebee account is deleted

Deleting the owner's account dissolves the shared subscription. All invited members lose the Alert Live access provided by that plan.
