How to Manage Multiple Google Accounts in the Find Hub AppUpdated 6 days ago

Managing Multiple Google Accounts in Google’s Find Hub

If you use multiple Google accounts on your Android phone or tablet, you may need a few extra steps to ensure your Pebblebee item pairs with the correct account in Google’s Find Hub.

My Pebblebee Disappeared from Google’s Find Hub

If your Pebblebee was paired successfully but no longer appears in your Google’s Find Hub app, it may be linked to a different Google account on the same device.

When pairing, your Pebblebee automatically links to your primary Google account—the one set as default on your phone—regardless of which account you select in the app.

The pairing confirmation screen will display the email address of the account being linked at the bottom of the message.

Tip: Always check the email shown during pairing. That’s the account your Pebblebee is linked to.

Check if You Have Multiple Google Accounts on Your Phone

If you’re unsure whether multiple Google accounts are active on your device:

  1. Open any Google app (like Gmail or YouTube).

  2. Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner.

  3. If you see an arrow next to your email, there are multiple accounts.

  4. Tap the arrow to view all accounts linked to your device.

Note: Your default account is typically listed first.

Check Your Account in Google’s Find Hub

  1. Open the Google’s Find Hub app.

  2. Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner.

  3. If multiple accounts exist, an arrow will appear near your email address.

  4. Tap the arrow to display other accounts linked to your phone.

Tip: Make sure the correct account is active before pairing your Pebblebee.

To ensure your Pebblebee pairs with the correct account, that account must be set as your primary (default) Google account on your device.

As far as the Pebblebee team knows, Google’s Find Hub will always pair to your phone’s primary account. To change which account that is:

  1. Look up instructions for your specific Android phone model and version on how to change the default Google account.

  2. You can also contact Google Support for the most up-to-date guidance.

  3. Once changed, repeat the pairing process in Google’s Find Hub.

If You Can No Longer Access the Linked Google Account

If you’ve lost access to the account your Pebblebee is linked to (e.g., forgotten password or closed account):

  1. Perform a factory reset on your Pebblebee device. See: How to factory reset Card, Clip, or Tag

  2. When the pairing pop-up appears, check the email displayed—that’s the account your Pebblebee will link to.

  3. Complete pairing with an account you can access.
