Add your Halo to the Pebblebee app to activate and manage its safety features, Safety Circle, Alert Live subscription, battery information, recovery QR code, and device settings.

Important: Halo is a safety device and must be added to the Pebblebee app before you connect it to Apple Find My or Google’s Find Hub.

Before you begin

• Fully charge your Halo.

• Download or update the Pebblebee app on your iPhone or Android phone.

• Turn on Bluetooth.

• Make sure your phone has an internet connection.

• Keep your Halo close to your phone.

• Locate the device button on the right side of Halo.

Important safety information

• Pressing the right-side button once turns on the flashlight. The light is very bright, so do not shine it directly into anyone’s eyes.

• Pulling the base away from Halo activates its loud siren and flashing safety lights. The siren is extremely loud, so avoid activating it unexpectedly during setup.

Add your Halo

1. Open the Pebblebee app.

2. Enter your email address and sign in.

3. Enter the verification code sent to your email.

4. Tap the + button in the upper-right corner.

5. Select Device.

6. Follow the instructions to grant the required app permissions.

7. When prompted, press the button on the right side of your Halo five times.

8. Follow the remaining on-screen instructions to complete setup.

Confirm the connection

After setup, your Halo should appear in the Pebblebee app.

Select your Halo to access:

• Locate: View the available locating options and connect Halo to Apple Find My or Google’s Find Hub.

• Features: Manage Halo’s supported safety features.

• Settings: View battery information and manage device settings.

• Pebblebee Link: Manage the recovery QR code on the back of Halo and create a custom finder message.

Note: Halo does not support Phone Finder.

Redeem your included Alert Live subscription

Halo includes a 12-month Alert Live subscription.

After adding your Halo:

1. Follow the prompt to redeem the included Alert Live subscription.

2. Review the subscription information displayed in the app.

3. Confirm the activation.

Your 12-month subscription begins when you activate it and renews automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date.

If you choose to redeem it later, the offer will remain available until the expiration date shown in the Pebblebee app. We recommend activating it when you first add your Halo.

If Halo does not connect

• Confirm that Halo is charged.

• Keep it close to your phone.

• Make sure Bluetooth and internet access are turned on.

• Press the right-side button firmly five times.

• Try pressing slightly faster or slower.

• Confirm that the Pebblebee app is up to date.

• Close and reopen the app, then try again.
