Set up your LÔC8 with Google’s Find Hub on AndroidUpdated an hour ago
Set up your LÔC8 with Google’s Find Hub to locate your embedded equipment using your Android phone and Google’s finding network.
Before you begin
If your LÔC8 did not come pre-installed, wait until setup is complete before installing it.
If LÔC8 came pre-installed, locate the button on top of the device and make sure you can access it.
Turn on Bluetooth and Location on your Android phone.
Make sure your phone has an internet connection.
Sign in to the Google account you want to use with LÔC8.
Keep LÔC8 close to your phone during setup.
Do not use the standard Pair new device option in your phone’s Bluetooth settings. LÔC8 connects through Google Fast Pair.
Important: Set up LÔC8 with Google’s Find Hub before adding it to the Pebblebee app. If it did not come pre-installed, complete both setup processes and check for firmware updates before installation. Accessing the button may be difficult once LÔC8 is embedded.
Set up your LÔC8
Download and open the Google Find Hub app.
Sign in to your Google account.
Double-press the button on top of LÔC8.
Confirm that LÔC8 beeps and flashes white. This means it is ready to connect.
Wait for the Fast Pair notification to appear on your phone.
Select Connect and follow the on-screen instructions to complete setup.
Confirm the connection
After setup, LÔC8 should appear in Google’s Find Hub.
Select it to view its location or play a sound. If LÔC8 plays a sound, the connection is complete.
If the Fast Pair notification does not appear
Make sure Bluetooth, Location, and internet access are turned on.
Make sure your phone’s screen is on.
Keep LÔC8 close to your phone.
Double-press the top button again.
Confirm that LÔC8 beeps and flashes white.
Close and reopen Google’s Find Hub, then try again.
Confirm that LÔC8 is not already connected to Apple Find My or another Google account.
Note: LÔC8 can be connected to only one tracking network and one owner account at a time.
Once LÔC8 is connected to Google’s Find Hub, add it to the Pebblebee app to check for firmware updates. If it did not come pre-installed, complete the firmware check before installing it.
