Set up your LÔC8 with Apple Find My to locate your embedded equipment using your iPhone and Apple’s Find My network.

Before you begin

• If your LÔC8 did not come pre-installed, wait until setup is complete before installing it.

• If LÔC8 came pre-installed, locate the button on top of the device and make sure you can access it.

• Turn on Bluetooth and location access on your iPhone.

• Make sure your iPhone has an internet connection.

• Keep LÔC8 close to your iPhone during setup.

Important: Set up LÔC8 with Apple Find My before adding it to the Pebblebee app. If it did not come pre-installed, complete both setup processes and check for firmware updates before installation. Accessing the button may be difficult once LÔC8 is embedded.

Set up your LÔC8

1. Open the Apple Find My app on your iPhone.

2. Tap the + button.

3. Select Add Other Item.

4. Double-press the button on top of LÔC8.

5. Confirm that LÔC8 beeps and flashes white.

6. Follow the instructions in Apple Find My to name the item and complete setup.

Confirm the connection

After setup, LÔC8 should appear in the Items tab of Apple Find My.

Select it to view its location or play a sound. If LÔC8 plays a sound, the connection is complete.

If your LÔC8 does not appear

• Make sure Bluetooth, location access, and internet access are turned on.

• Keep LÔC8 close to your iPhone.

• Double-press the top button again.

• Confirm that LÔC8 beeps twice and flashes white.

• Close and reopen Apple Find My, then try again.

• Confirm that LÔC8 is not already connected to Google’s Find Hub or another Apple Account.

Note: LÔC8 can be connected to only one tracking network and one owner account at a time.

Once LÔC8 is connected to Apple Find My, add it to the Pebblebee app to check for firmware updates. If it did not come pre-installed, complete the firmware check before installing it.
