Set up your Card 5 with Google’s Find Hub to locate it using your Android phone and Google’s finding network.
Before you begin
Fully charge your Card 5.
Turn on Bluetooth and Location on your Android phone.
Make sure your phone has an internet connection.
Sign in to the Google account you want to use with your Card 5.
Keep your Card 5 close to your phone during setup.
Do not connect your Card 5 using the standard "Pair new device" option in your phone’s Bluetooth settings. Card 5 connects through Google Fast Pair.
Important: Set up your Card 5 with Google’s Find Hub before adding it to the Pebblebee app. Adding it to the Pebblebee app first may cause setup issues.
Set up your Card 5
Download and open the Google Find Hub app.
Sign in to your Google account.
Double-press the button in the center of the Pebblebee logo of your Card 5.
Confirm that the Card 5 beeps twice and flashes white. This means it is ready to connect.
Wait for the Fast Pair notification to appear on your phone.
Select Connect and follow the on-screen instructions to complete setup.
Confirm the connection
After setup, your Card 5 should appear in Google’s Find Hub. Select it to view its location or play a sound.
If the Fast Pair notification does not appear
Confirm that the Card 5 is charged.
Make sure Bluetooth, Location, and internet access are turned on.
Make sure your phone's screen is on.
Keep the Card 5 close to your phone.
Double-press the Card 5 button again and wait for two beeps and a white flashing light.
Close and reopen Google’s Find Hub, then try again.
Once your Card 5 is connected to Google’s Find Hub, you can add it to the Pebblebee app to use supported Pebblebee features.
