Factory Reset Guide for Clip Gen 5
Need to reset your Clip Gen 5? This guide explains how to perform a factory reset your device— so you can stay connected and in control.
Note: If you’re looking to pair your device for the first time, see Getting Started with Your Clip, Card, or Tag for setup instructions.
Factory Reset Your Clip Gen 5
Performing a factory reset restores your device to its original settings. This is helpful if you’re troubleshooting or transferring ownership.
Steps to Reset
Locate the button on the front of the device — just below the Pebblebee logo.
Triple-press the button, then press and hold for about 10 seconds.
There should be no pause between the triple press and the press-and-hold.
You’ll hear three high-pitched beeps. Release the button during the third beep, before it ends.
You should then hear a short jingle — confirming that your Clip Gen 5 was successfully reset.
Tip: If you don’t hear the confirmation sound, repeat the process. Try counting steadily to 4 between presses for more consistent timing.
